Many of you, by now, know that I also sing. Music was my first love, and you know what they say about “first love”….
It never dies.
So, from time to time, whenever I get the chance to do so, I record a song or two on SingSnap, or simply listen to my favorite Snappers. It’s how I find release from every day stress.
So today will be the first time ever that I’m going to publish a blog post that is mainly focused on my love for singing and on SingSnap. I intend to make this a part of my blog “regulars” because singing/music is an integral part of who I am and I love talking about it. I would be very happy and honored to share with you Guys what little I know about music as a form of art and as an industry.
Meanwhile, let me invite those of you who love to sing to check out SingSnap. It’s an online karaoke site and it’s absolutely free to create an account. Not only can you sing along to your favorite hits and thousands of other songs but you can also record your performance (with or without video, solo or duet with a fellow Snapper) and share your masterpiece on your social media accounts. I have been a SingSnap member since 2007 and have 527 public recordings on the site.
I’d like to start my “Straight From My SingSnap Studio” series with duets I recorded with some of my favorite fellow SingSnap artists. Please do visit their pages too while you’re at it.
