OOTD: Walking The Streets Of Makati

Guess what?!  This is my first ever OOTD post!  Woohoo!  Finally.  [for the clueless, OOTD is short for "Outfit Of The Day"]  icon smile OOTD: Walking The Streets Of Makati

I just used my Blackberry mobile phone to take these photos so it’s a bit disappointing in terms of quality, but my OOTD posts will only be about what I wore for the day anyway so I suppose what’s important is that it’s clear enough that you can all see what I wore.  Right?  (I know, I know… excuses, excuses!)  icon razz OOTD: Walking The Streets Of Makati

So earlier today, I took my daughter Arra for a leisurely walk along the streets of Makati.  It wasn’t planned.  We went to Makati because Big Daddy (a.k.a. Hubby Rick) had an appointment somewhere on Jupiter Street, and he was supposed to drop Arra and me off at Greenbelt to go malling.  Big Daddy, however, missed his turn so I suggested that Arra and I get out of the car and take advantage of the bright, sunny weather and the desolate sidewalks of Ayala Avenue.  Arra and I then started heading for Greenbelt on foot — something which we don’t do often ’cause everywhere we go, we always drive to get there.

Good thing that my OOTD was my usual “mall shopping” outfit — a pair of shorts and comfy wedged flip flops — because it probably took us a good 30 minutes to get to our destination… which would have really sucked if I was wearing heels.

Overall, our mini adventure turned out to be so much fun.  I got to share lots of kwento with Arra about the days gone by when I used to work in Makati.  It was also a great way to exercise yet we were not even exhausted because we walked at a very relaxed pace anyway (hmm… somehow it doesn’t make sense for the words “exercise” and “relaxed” to be in the same sentence).

‘Til my next OOTD post, guys!  Ciao!  icon smile OOTD: Walking The Streets Of Makati
