Lit From Within Complexion | L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation

Lit from within complexion.  Perfectly flawless finish.

That’s the L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation promise.

According to L’Oreal, the Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation is the first liquid light foundation that offers instant skin radiance, flawless coverage which lets the light shine through, SPF 24 and 12HR magic radiance.  A magic complexion infused with light, all because of this new liquid light technology — a technology exclusive only to L’Oreal.  It’s as if every inch of your skin is glowing!

An Everyday Foundation And More…

My discovery of the new L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation all began with a search for a liquid foundation light enough for everyday use but provides enough coverage so that I look effortlessly “made up” (if you get what that means, haha!)

To be honest, I have this liquid foundation from another brand that I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with.  Problem was, I only intended to use it on special occasions because it was a bit pricey.  So when I received a short notice invitation to a daytime informal event, it was the perfect excuse for me to go and buy what I would call “my regular days” foundation.

I knew it had to be something really light, oil-free or water based and not so expensive.  When you’re looking for budget-friendly makeup, “drugstore brands” are a girl’s best bet.

So off I headed to the cosmetics department of a nearby mall until this foundation from L’Oreal caught my eye.

The New L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation

The Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation was introduced to the market just early this year.  Not long after the first (hundred?) bottles landed in the hands of beauty junkies from different corners of the earth, rave reviews for this product started popping up all over the internet.

I’m here to show y’all through this post why I became the newest L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation fan.  icon smile Lit From Within Complexion | LOreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation

Half a pump of this lightweight foundation should be enough for the face (so one 30ml bottle should go a long, long way).  Otherwise, the L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation provides buildable coverage to achieve a finish that is seamlessly tailored to the skin.

Here’s a tiny drop of my L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation.  I have the N5 shade or Pure Honey.

It’s very thin, almost watery in consistency, and very spreadable.  Here’s what it looks like when spread over (but not thoroughly blended into) the skin.

Once thoroughly and evenly spread over the skin, this foundation disappears into a sheer, almost invisible finish.

The L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation Effect

In the photo above, I used the L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation only on the right half of my face.  The other half was totally bare (no make up at all).  Can y’all see the difference?

The Verdict

The L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation is a perfect makeup for women who find BB creams too heavy for everyday use.  Much to my delight, it delivers on its guarantee of giving me that “lit from within” glowing complexion.  However, if you have super oily skin like I do, you should always keep a packet of oil blotting tissue in your purse or finish off with a really good mattifying powder.  The subtle “glow” from this foundation can very quickly turn into a yucky grease if left unchecked for hours.  Other than that, I am very happy with this product.

What about the “perfectly flawless finish” promise?  Did it satisfy?  I actually found the L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation too sheer to completely hide the really dark blemishes and spots.  However, its light-reflecting properties turned out to be impressively effective that, even with minor skin issues, it still gives an illusion of a smooth, velvety, even toned skin.

All throughout this summer, the L’Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation has been my go-to foundation whenever I preferred to use foundation instead of BB cream.  Not only was it perfect for the summer because of its lightweight formula but also because it was sweat-proof and melt-proof!  Also, because of its spreadable consistency, it was perfect for times when I was in a bit of a rush.  icon smile Lit From Within Complexion | LOreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation

For only Php845.00, this is indeed a great buy!

Great review! Just how do you compose a review so effectively? I experience difficulty with writing my own reviews for my blog post. I’m nearly considering autoblogging … LOL! Keep up the good work, MyMy!
