Give me a kiss to build a dream on
And my imagination will thrive upon that kiss
Sweetheart, I ask no more than this
A kiss to build a dream on…
How sweet it is to hear a man say, or sing, how much he craves, yearns and dreams about kissing your lips, isn’t it? <sigh> But before that dream turns into a nightmare, you gotta know how to have soft kissable lips. It’s really not hard to achieve…the secret is in proper lip care.
How To Have Soft Kissable Lips
First of all, drink lots of water daily. If you are dehydrated, it will cause dry, cracked or chapped lips.
Second, exfoliate with a lip scrub once or twice a week.
I use The Lip Scrub by Sara Happ and I am so addicted to it! It will leave your lips feeling so smooth and soft and it tastes so good, you will be tempted to lick it off as opposed to wiping it off. It comes in different wonderfully delicious flavors–cocoa, almond creme, peppermint, vanilla bean, cinnamon sugar, brown sugar, creme brulee, and the latest, red velvet.
Okay so what if you do end up having dry and chapped lips? For a quick-fix, I can always depend on (and highly recommend) Clinique’s All About Lips to relieve dryness and make my lips instantly smooth.
Lastly, condition the lips with a good lip conditioner. I use the MAC Lip Conditioner. What I love about this product is that it does not leave a greasy or sticky feeling on the lips. Just the right consistency and combination of the almond oil, shea butter and essential vitamins to provide and lock in moisture, all day and all night long. That’s right, I use it overnight as well and I wake up to soft, crack-free lips everyday!
There are other lip balms that I love to use during the day to keep my pout moisturized and to give it a healthy, natural-looking color like these two, for example:
Now, that you know how to have soft kissable lips, you are ready to lock lips with your Lovey!
